    The Prince of the Eastern Region sponsors the 7th edition of the Careers Fair in October.

    Al-Khaldi: The exhibition reflects the keenness of the business sector to attract national talent.

     

    His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz (Governor of the Eastern Region) will sponsor the 7th edition of Job Fair (Jobs 2019) frm the period 14-17 / Oct / 2019, which will be organized by Asharqia Chamber at the headquarter of Dhahran International Exhibitions Company (Dhahran Expo) with the participation of a number of companies, institutions and governmental and civil authorities that concerned with the development of human resources.

    The Exhibition will take place in Dhahran Expo in Al Khobar.

     

    The Chairman of the Board of Asharqia Chamber Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khaldi said that this edition of this exhibition, which is held at this time of each year, aims to support efforts to localize jobs in the private sector and to highlight the role of the business sector in attracting national talent and providing job opportunities for Saudi youth, as well as to achieve communication between the business sector on the one hand, the providers of training and employment services and specialists in the management of human resources and employment, on the other hand and between these bodies and job seekers from a third party.

    He paid tribute to His Highness the Emir of the Eastern Province for his patronage and attention to this occasion and other events of Asharqia Chamber, which confirms the keenness of His Highness and support for all that would support and develop human competencies and achieve their participation in the development and comprehensive development witnessed by the country in all fields, especially in the economic level.

     

    Al-Khaldi pointed out that the Exhibition has achieved continuous successes in the past years, in addition to its contribution to the provision of thousands of job opportunities for the ambitious Saudi youth.

    It has contributed to the creation of a state of national mobility towards an issue that is more important than our development and social issues, which is the issue of resettlement and Saudization of jobs, especially in the private sector, which is the most important channel to attract national talent to work or to qualify and gain experience, as the private sector at present is not limited to the role of employment only, but has an effective contribution and clear in the issues of education and training and the like.

    He added that Saudization at present is no longer a job opportunity for the young Saudi and ended up, but it is a general situation to feed the public ambition of young promising Saudis and capable of looking forward to a better world, in light of the broad plans of the Kingdom to continue growth and development and excellence and to achieve further national achievements with national hands, loaded with world-class expertise and knowledge.

    He pointed out that this exhibition is an important channel for job seekers and opens the way for national talent, which is looking for job opportunities that highlight the energy, spread their creativity, achieve their personal aspirations, and supports our endless choice of development.

    He stressed that the human element is the basis in this country, regardless of his job location and place of work.

     

    Al-Khaldi said that the Chamber is looking forward to achieving more successes that took place last year after the exhibition, which registered a visit of more than 18 thousand applicants amid the great interest of participating companies and beneficiaries.

    The number of participants in the exhibition was about 137 companies and institutions provided more than 6500 thousand jobs.

    This is in addition to the prominent participation of some prominent government bodies, including The Ministry of Labor and Social Development, Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, Human Resources Development Fund, Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage, and others.

    He stressed the keenness of the Chamber to achieve more achievements than has been achieved in the past years.

     

    For his part, the Secretary General of Asharqia Chamber Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Wabel said that the Exhibition, which is organized by the Chamber annually at Dhahran Exhibitions Company (Dhahran Expo), reflects the keenness of private sector institutions to attract Saudi youth on the one hand, and on the other provides a platform for Saudi youth to learn about the new opportunities in line with their qualifications and the implications of the labor market of promising job opportunities, especially as the country is experiencing a major development boom, which requires the competencies, experiences and skills of Saudi youth.

    Al-Wabel explained that the importance of the exhibition appears in three basic aspects, where the first is the companies facing the challenge of providing qualified human capabilities, while the second side comes within the framework of the statement of the scientifically and practically qualified young man.

    The exhibition provides them with several options to apply their knowledge and experience.

    The third aspect is the intermediate bodies that train, educate, qualify and coordinate the relationship between the worker and the job seekrs.

    He expressed the hope that the job fair will contribute to the success like the previous versions, which contributed to the recruitment of many national energies in important workplaces in companies and private institutions.​
